Warrior skill · aims at the thickest pack · evolves into Twin Fault
Faultline
Splits the ground in a straight line toward the thickest crowd. It aims itself at the densest pack of monsters in range (no aiming by hand).
A level-up offers it as one of three cards.
Rank by rank
A level-up card offers a skill you do not have while one of your 6 slots is free, or the next rank of one you have, up to rank 5. These are the lines the card shows:
- Rank 1: 30 damage along a 4.5-tile line · 6.0 s cooldown (3.6 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 2: 38 damage along a 4.8-tile line · 5.6 s cooldown (3.37 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 3: 46 damage along a 5.1-tile line · 5.2 s cooldown (3.12 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 4: 56 damage along a 5.5-tile line · 4.8 s cooldown (2.88 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 5: 68 damage along a 6-tile line · 4.4 s cooldown (2.63 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
| Rank | Cooldown (s) | Damage | Length (tiles) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 6 | 30 | 4.5 |
| 2 | 5.6 | 38 | 4.8 |
| 3 | 5.2 | 46 | 5.1 |
| 4 | 4.8 | 56 | 5.5 |
| 5 | 4.4 | 68 | 6 |
At every rank: Line width 0.9 tiles, Range 7 tiles.
Evolution: Twin Fault
Rank 5 + Broad Shoulders → Twin Fault. Hold Faultline at rank 5 and any rank of Broad Shoulders, and the next level-up’s first card is the evolution, drawn in gold. The ground splits both ways at once: a second line runs out behind you.
- Change from rank 5
- +25% damage, +15% area, -10% cooldown
- Damage
- 68 → 85
- Cooldown
- 4.4 s → 3.97 s
- With Quick Hands 5
- 2.38 s
Broad Shoulders is also the key to Iron Gyre and Snaring Net, so one passive can open two evolutions.
Gear that changes it
- The Threefold Rift (unique): Faultline splits into three narrower lines in a fan.
