Warrior skill · aims at the thickest pack · evolves into Ironbriar Field
Crowfoot Scatter
Scatters caltrops on the thickest pack; foes in them slow and bleed. It aims itself at the densest pack of monsters in range (no aiming by hand).
A level-up offers it as one of three cards.
Rank by rank
A level-up card offers a skill you do not have while one of your 6 slots is free, or the next rank of one you have, up to rank 5. These are the lines the card shows:
- Rank 1: 1.4-tile field, 4.0 s: -40% speed, 4 damage twice a second · 10.0 s cooldown (6 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 2: 1.5-tile field, 4.5 s: -45% speed, 5 damage twice a second · 9.5 s cooldown (5.7 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 3: 1.6-tile field, 5.0 s: -50% speed, 6 damage twice a second · 9.0 s cooldown (5.4 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 4: 1.75-tile field, 5.5 s: -55% speed, 8 damage twice a second · 8.5 s cooldown (5.1 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 5: 1.9-tile field, 6.0 s: -60% speed, 10 damage twice a second · 8.0 s cooldown (4.8 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
| Rank | Cooldown (s) | Damage | Radius (tiles) | Slow | Lasts (s) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10 | 4 | 1.4 | 40% | 4 |
| 2 | 9.5 | 5 | 1.5 | 45% | 4.5 |

| 5 | 8 | 10 | 1.9 | 60% | 6 |
At every rank: Range 6 tiles.
Evolution: Ironbriar Field
Rank 5 + Light Step → Ironbriar Field. Hold Crowfoot Scatter at rank 5 and any rank of Light Step, and the next level-up’s first card is the evolution, drawn in gold. A wider bed of iron thorns that bleeds harder and all but stops the pack.

Light Step is also the key to Ramming Dash and Cinder Wake, so one passive can open two evolutions.
