Mute Lantern
When you are hit, the skull-throwers and hook-casters within 6 tiles cannot throw for 2 s.
Found only from the Hushwarden, on a tier 20+ key.
The power
When you are hit, the skull-throwers and hook-casters within 6 tiles cannot throw for 2 s. It works for whichever hero wears it, with any build. The codex counts it steady, by the same rule as every other unique: its power keeps the hero alive or saves him time rather than changing how a build plays.
Stats
It comes at item level 30 plus the tier of the key spent on the Hushwarden, so at item level 50 at the least. A unique’s lines stop growing at item level 36, so every copy rolls the top ranges below whatever the tier; only its base’s implicit (52–54 cooldowns at item level 50) keeps rising with the item level.

How to get it
No floor, Fissure or other boss drops it. At the Obelisk in town, a key of tier 20 or more can be spent on the Hushwarden instead of a Fissure (how the Deep Three fight). A kill always pays one Hush heart and 3 rares; each of the 3 has a 10% chance of being Mute Lantern instead, so a kill brings at least one about 27% of the time. Its partner from the same boss is Quietstep.
Bad luck has a floor: on the Smith’s Melt tab 5 Hush hearts buy it outright (item level 30 plus your best cleared tier), so 5 kills always get it, and 1 Hush heart rerolls the stat lines of one you own. Hearts of the other two bosses do not count. It goes to the shared stash, so any hero can wear it, and the Codex counts it among every unique you can find.
