Echo of the Bellwright

Each skill you cast echoes 0.4 s later as a ring round you at 25% of its damage.

Play

Found only from the Last Bell, on a tier 30+ key.

The power

Each skill you cast echoes 0.4 s later as a ring round you at 25% of its damage. It works for whichever hero wears it, with any build. The codex marks it build-changing, by the same rule as every other unique: its power turns a hit, a cast or a step into a new effect a build is played around.

Stats

It comes at item level 30 plus the tier of the key spent on the Last Bell, so at item level 60 at the least. A unique’s lines stop growing at item level 36, so every copy rolls the top ranges below whatever the tier; only its base’s implicit (185–189 life at item level 60) keeps rising with the item level.

How to get it

No floor, Fissure or other boss drops it. At the Obelisk in town, a key of tier 30 or more can be spent on the Last Bell instead of a Fissure (how the Deep Three fight). A kill always pays one Bell heart and 3 rares; each of the 3 has a 10% chance of being Echo of the Bellwright instead, so a kill brings at least one about 27% of the time. Its partner from the same boss is Tollmaker.

Bad luck has a floor: on the Smith’s Melt tab 5 Bell hearts buy it outright (item level 30 plus your best cleared tier), so 5 kills always get it, and 1 Bell heart rerolls the stat lines of one you own. Hearts of the other two bosses do not count. It goes to the shared stash, so any hero can wear it, and the Codex counts it among every unique you can find.
