Mender skill · aims at himself · evolves into Boiling Geyser
Scalding Spring
Boiling water bursts up round you, scalding and shoving back the foes close by. It works around the Mender himself, so it needs no target.
It is on the hero’s skill tree from the start: one level-up point learns it.
Rank by rank
Each level up to 30 brings one point for the skill tree, then every second level does: a point learns a skill you do not have while one of your 6 slots is free, or adds the next rank of one you have, up to rank 5. These are the lines the tree shows for each rank:
- Rank 1: 16 damage and a shove to every foe within 1.8 tiles of you, 1 burn stack (1 a tick) · 8.0 s cooldown (4.8 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 2: 20 damage and a shove to every foe within 1.9 tiles of you, 1 burn stack (1 a tick) · 7.6 s cooldown (4.57 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 3: 25 damage and a shove to every foe within 2 tiles of you, 1 burn stack (2 a tick) · 7.2 s cooldown (4.32 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 4: 31 damage and a shove to every foe within 2.15 tiles of you, 1 burn stack (2 a tick) · 6.8 s cooldown (4.08 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 5: 38 damage and a shove to every foe within 2.3 tiles of you, 1 burn stack (3 a tick) · 6.4 s cooldown (3.83 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
| Rank | Cooldown (s) | Damage | Radius (tiles) | Burn a tick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 8 | 16 | 1.8 | 1 |
| 2 | 7.6 | 20 | 1.9 | 1 |

| 4 | 6.8 | 31 | 2.15 | 2 |
| 5 | 6.4 | 38 | 2.3 | 3 |
Evolution: Boiling Geyser
Rank 5 + Heavy Hand → Boiling Geyser. Hold Scalding Spring at rank 5 and any rank of Heavy Hand, and its gold evolution node on the skill tree can take your next point. The spring erupts: it scalds harder and hurls the foes round you far back.
