Inscription · 3 runes · for the Warrior
Last Light
Falling under 30% life gives you 3 s of taking half damage, once per floor.
All 3 runes can drop from floor 16 down.
The runes, in order
Sedge → Hush → Thrum, in sockets 1 to 3 of one item with exactly 3 sockets: a normal or magic weapon, off-hand and chest. The deepest of them, Thrum, first drops on floor 16.
The power
Falling under 30% life gives you 3 s of taking half damage, once per floor. The 3 s of halved damage come once per floor, the moment you fall under 30% of your life. It works for the Warrior; any other hero wearing the item gets the runes’ stats and nothing more.
- Cut into a weapon, the runes add
- +4% move speed, +6% swing speed, +9% skill area
- Cut into other gear
- -3% cooldowns, +30 life, +6% swing speed
- Smith’s price to empty every socket
- 180 gold
An inscription is cut when an item has exactly as many sockets as the inscription has runes, every socket filled, in the inscription’s order. A 3-socket chest with Brine and Quill in its first two sockets spells nothing: the count must match too. The inscription’s power works only for the hero it is cut for; on anyone else the item keeps its rune stats and the power sleeps. Emptying one socket breaks the inscription at once, and the rune in it is destroyed, so set the runes in order and only into the item you mean to keep.
