- Rank 2: You and heroes within 5 tiles take 18 % less damage for 4.5 s · 13.5 s cooldown (8.1 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 3: You and heroes within 5 tiles take 20 % less damage for 5 s · 13 s cooldown (7.8 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 4: You and heroes within 5 tiles take 23 % less damage for 5.5 s · 12.5 s cooldown (7.5 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 5: You and heroes within 5 tiles take 25 % less damage for 6 s · 12 s cooldown (7.2 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)

Rank 5 + Light Step → Ossein Bastion. Hold Ossein Mail at rank 5 and any rank of Light Step, and the next level-up’s first card is the evolution, drawn in gold. Thicker plates that last longer and reach heroes farther off.
