Bonecaller skill · aims at himself · evolves into Bone Tempest
Bone Shrapnel
Shards of bone burst out from you and fling the nearest foes back. It works around the Bonecaller himself, so it needs no target.
Play
A level-up offers it as one of three cards.
Rank by rank
A level-up card offers a skill you do not have while one of your 6 slots is free, or the next rank of one you have, up to rank 5. These are the lines the card shows:
- Rank 1: 16 damage and a hard shove within 2.5 tiles · 5 s cooldown (3 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 2: 20 damage and a hard shove within 2.7 tiles · 4.7 s cooldown (2.82 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 3: 24 damage and a hard shove within 2.9 tiles · 4.4 s cooldown (2.63 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 4: 30 damage and a hard shove within 3.1 tiles · 4.1 s cooldown (2.47 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
- Rank 5: 37 damage and a hard shove within 3.3 tiles · 3.8 s cooldown (2.28 s with Quick Hands at rank 5)
| Rank | Cooldown (s) | Damage | Radius (tiles) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 | 16 | 2.5 |
| 2 | 4.7 | 20 | 2.7 |
| 3 | 4.4 | 24 | 2.9 |
| 4 | 4.1 | 30 | 3.1 |
| 5 | 3.8 | 37 | 3.3 |
Evolution: Bone Tempest
Rank 5 + Heavy Hand → Bone Tempest. Hold Bone Shrapnel at rank 5 and any rank of Heavy Hand, and the next level-up’s first card is the evolution, drawn in gold. The shards fly farther and hit hard enough to clear a ring round you.
- Change from rank 5
- +35% damage, +20% area, -10% cooldown
- Damage
- 37 → 49.95
- Cooldown
- 3.8 s → 3.42 s
- With Quick Hands 5

Heavy Hand is also the key to Bone Muster and Dirge Knell, so one passive can open three evolutions.
