How it fights

Killed, a knitbone falls into a heap of bones, and if the heap is left alone for 3 s it knits itself back up with 60% of its HP. Any hit on the heap ends it for good, and so does a second death after it rose. Its XP shard and its drop come only when it is gone for good, so its drop table is richer than a husk’s (6%, magic and rare odds ×1.2).

Floor by floor

The same knitbone gets tougher each floor: the floor multiplies its HP, bite and speed. An elite knitbone has 3× the HP, gives 5× the XP and always drops at least a magic item plus 5 coins. “Share of waves” is the part of the floor’s wave monsters that roll as a knitbone.

* Floors past 15 are not written out in the game’s tables: their numbers are the engine’s own extrapolation from floor 15 (HP and bite keep growing every floor).
