How it fights

The stoker charges. When you are between 1.2 and 6 tiles away it drags its shovel back and holds still for 0.7 s, then runs straight along the line it faced at 8.5 tiles a second (2.02× the Warrior’s 4.2), for 11 base damage (24 on floor 11) if it hits you. It cannot turn mid-charge; when it hits a wall it is stunned for 1.6 s, and a charge that meets no wall stops after 3 s. Step sideways out of its line during the wind-up and hit it while it is stunned. After a stun it waits 2.5 s before winding up again. At most 4 are alive at once.

Floor by floor

The same stoker gets tougher each floor: the floor multiplies its HP, bite and speed. An elite stoker has 3× the HP, gives 5× the XP and always drops at least a magic item plus 5 coins. “Share of waves” is the part of the floor’s wave monsters that roll as a stoker.
